This story is good news for PatchX. Someone told his mom about our web site and what we are doing. She called me up and we were able to fix up a laptop for them. Like most of the computers we donate I think both of them will get great use from this computer. He is holding the computer bag in the picture
- ClamWin - Free Antivirus comes with an easy installer and open source code
- OpenOffice - A multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project. Compatible with all other major office suites, free to download and use.
- 7Zip - Open source Windows utility for manipulating archives. Formats 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR are supported fully, other formats can be unpacked.
- NotePad++ -is a free (as in "free speech" and also as in "free beer") source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. Running in the MS Windows environment, its use is governed by GPL License.
